Follow these simple steps to set up your first website with MicroWidgets and integrate GitHub and Stripe information.

Step 1: Add Your Website

  1. Log in to your MicroWidgets dashboard.
  2. Enter your website's domain name in the Adding a new website section.
  3. Click the "Add Website" button.

Your website is now registered with MicroWidgets and ready for customisation.

Step 2: Configure GitHub Details

To display GitHub updates on your website, you'll need to provide some repository information:

  1. Click on the website you want to edit and locate the "GitHub Details" section under "Last Updated”.
  2. Enter your repository name in the format "username/repository" (e.g., "mplacona/MicroWidgets").
  3. (Optional) If your repository is private, you'll need to provide a GitHub token.

Adding the Token to MicroWidgets

  1. Return to your MicroWidgets dashboard.
  2. Paste the copied token into the "GitHub Token" field in the GitHub Details section.

Note: MicroWidgets only requires read access to your repository to fetch dates and commit information.

Step 3: Save Your Configuration

After entering your GitHub details, click "Save Changes" to update your website configuration.

Congratulations! You've successfully set up your website with MicroWidgets and integrated GitHub information. Your website will now display up-to-date information about your repository, including recent commits and update dates.
